28-09-2004 : Release of long awaited Oldies reverbs, plus a never published device experimentation.
I've released some oldies. I know that some of you were fan of these old devices I've made, since they had a very specific sound and use. I've adapted these devices to make them working on SFP4.0. I Must say that I've been surprised by the sound of the Verb PRO 1.1 for example, that is very specific and very usable as well!!! I've also decided to release a never published device called VerbPRO 1.1EX. It is an experiment, a kind of multieffect in a reverb loop. This device needs quite a lof of DSP, you are warned! All of these are FREE for the registered members of Dadev.com.

19-09-2004 : Lot of upgrades!
Almost all the devices have been upgraded today. Bug Fix are about mixer insert compatibility. Now you can drag and drop all the Dadev.com devices in any mixer. Since the SFP 4.0 there was an incompatibility between our device and this version of the platform. I was not able to install the SFP 4.0 until this month, when Creamware finally fixed their Key delivery system. Also the Goldverb has several new enhancements and a lot of pending B bugs fixed. New version are in the member's page. Also the DEMO were upgraded as well.
16-09-2004 : Ivan's Thunder, shut down our servers!
Our servers are hosted at Tempa in Florida. We are sorry if there are some shutdowns, but there are a lot of trouble with the electricity. And the backup gas generator need to be filled sometime!

28-07-2004 : New subscription system.
With the lack of support of most major developers and Creamware themselves, I've decided to create a new dynamic with DADEV. The new subscription system will allow all the members to download new products as soon as they are released for FREE. Already registered users have been upgraded automatically, and every one who has subscribed to the free download are registered with the new system to the new FREE area. More info are here. 15-12-2003 : Major upgrades and bug fixes for the Multicomp, Disto and Channel One.
To resume, the Multicomp release 3.3 fixes some issues with phasing and Gain buttons. The Disto is ported to the V3 and XTC platform, also fixes several bugs with the mixers, and the Channel One is also ported to the XTC platform and V3 of the Creamware's operating system.These changes are can be tested in the demo and in the member's area for the registered users.

12-04-2003 : Voice Tweak released
The voice tweak is a new tool designed to add fashion to vocals. It is a creative tool, very appreciated in remixes and by the techno scene, but also used a lot in current pop songs. More info and a demo here.

27-01-2003 : Mastercomp A23ST released
This compressor is in development for 2 years. State of the art subtle Hard, Soft and Variable-mu knee, this compressor has his sound, but also answer to all the compression needs. More info and a demo here.

25-01-2003 : Anouncement : Mastering Compressor A23ST.
The A23 ST is the first of a new series based on dynamics. It's a Soft Knee/Hark Knee and Variable Mu emulator, designed to deliver the best of all the differents technics. It can produce a warm compression (variable-mu used by Fairchild and Manley) or a more modern one with the classic Hard Knee algorithm. This compressor has a lot of personnality and a very pleasant sound with any type of materials.

21-01-2003 : Anouncement : Voice Tweak.
The Voice Tweak is a voice effect that can change a voice to different shapes. It's a real good sound design tool, really unique. This tool will be released very soon.

15-01-2003 : Analogif renamed to Formant One.
The Analogift name was suggesting that the Analogy was based on the same systems. It is wrong, so I've changed the name, and also I've changed its ugly layout, with a new clean one. Check the Freebees page for more info.

14-01-2003 : Analogy v 2.1.
The new Analogy is released. It is now supported by every version of the Creamware 's OS (SFP 3.x). Bug fixes, and optimization, the new demo has NO TIME LIMIT! Just a beep every minutes. So check it out here..

14-11-2002 : Multicomp v 3.3.
The multicomp v3 was very buggy because of a bad presets translation that was messing-up the internal settings. The new v3.3 has new presets and has been fixed. Phases errors and weird sounds on some config is fixed. Download the new version in your member's page or here..

The new verb Gold is by far the best devices we have built. It uses the latest Creamware's innovations. We have improved its overall performance a lot. Also its sister the Verb Gold LITE will be released today. It is the most efficient reverb, taking less than 1 DSP and a very few PCI resources! I'm currently dealing with Frank Hund at Creamware to get a hand on the development tool to fix the SF 3.1 issues. The latest contact I got was very positive. As soon as I've the rights I'll convert all the DSPDEV devices to the most rescent software update including XTC. I'm sorry for the delay, but Frank Hund a very busy person.

04-08-2001 : DISTO 1.3 upgrade
The DISTO was not very easy to use and I've not worked a lot on this device since its release. Now this time is over. The DISTO has been updated with a new Waveshaper atom and has been redesigned internally. All the presets have been changed, the DEMO on the web sites as well. I've also written a small user manual and given some tips to use the DISTO. Like the DSPDEV products you can now use the device with a 5 mn free time with all the PRESETS and functionalities working.. DISTO

Nicolas , owner of DSPDEV has released a new Electronic/Ambient music album. You can find some samples here. This music is inspired by the Cthulhu myth from HP. Lovercraft. VERB PRO new release v1.5
This version fix most problems found in the Verb PRO. Most of them were coming for some new features we have installed for using with Drums only, but were sounding very bad on pads or natural instruments. Here is the list of the new feature.

-New Drums FX button to enable or disable these new internal features.
-Patch button to save ALL the settings, including but not limited to the DHF, the compressor, and all the main surface buttons.
-Modelization Presets that enable you to simulate the sound of the previous versions.
Feedback button in the Reverberator's Type.

We have fixed a lot of bugs. The most noticeable was that some internal features were not connected. Here is a list of the new features :

Full MIDI support. You can assign any controls to a MIDI control of your choice. By doing this, you can control the Verb PRO from any devices or synth in real time!

VERB PRO new release v1.4
Yes, the Verb PRO has changed! We have changed its look but we have worked on month one the internal design as well. You should check the demo and see it opened! Here as some of the new features: use less PCI resources than the v1.31, has a complete control on the DHF ("DSPDEV Hyper Filters") unit, a full compressor, a complex room simulator system (you can change the room size, the sound speed and the wall type, you have +70 presets with the reverberators, 20 presets with the DHF and 10 presets with the Input Compressor that can be used in any combinations! Plus the magic Insert / direct button, very useful to have the best dynamic. It can sounds smooth or metallic, gated or vintage, dark or crystal clear, this is certainly the most versatile Reverb ever, but still very easy to use.

VERB ONE EXTENDED new release v1.4
Based on your feedback we have decided to release a new reverb called VerbOne EX (for extended). This reverb is based on the new reverberator 1.4 (same as the VerbOne) but has several upgrades. This reverbs is Stereo->Stereo, has an internal filter unit, has a spacializator to control the stereo output. The important upgrade is the Internal DHF (DSPDEV HyperFilter unit). this is a complex filter system that are used to create more realistic sounding reverbs, non linear and smoother. Check the demo and see for yourself. This reverb is sold in Bundle with the verb One and is free for any registered DSPDEV reverb user.

VERB ONE updated to v1.4
We have re-written the Reverb engine for the Verb PRO 1.4 that will be released tomorrow. This update has a much better sound and +60 presets.

The Verb PRO has an update today. I've fixed some presets, added some new Bouncing Wall 1.3, fixed the bouncing walls algorithm, added "Punched" to the preset, fixed 'Early Reflexions Large', added a minimized view and fixed the double-click problem that was not opening the main surface.

VERB PRO 1.3 RELEASED
The Verb PRO 1.3 has been released for registered customers only (check the members area). The internal reverberation engine has been optimized and new features have been added internally to support, grunge reverbs, random walls, bouncing walls, phase, flange and HyperFilter reverbs.
